Legend Wine Spirit of Marlborough

“Legend” is a fine aged grape spirit , mainly made from Pinot Noir pressings ( pulp, skins and seeds ) . It is  handcrafted using the same traditional methods than  great Cognac, Brandies or Whiskies .  The grapes are sourced from our family owned vineyard, established in the world famous wine region of Marlborough in New Zealand since 1997. After distillation in our 45 years old copper still, this spirit has been  matured in seasoned toasted French oak barrels for a minimum of 5 years.  The resulting spirit displays a rich earthy colour with a strong bouquet of grapes with hints of vanilla, spices  and roasted nuts .
